i almost bid on that book, just to have a crowley timely s/h example, but decided not to. glad i didn't cost you dough.

at the end of the day, it seemed silly to downgrade just to have "crowley"

on it, even with me having become a dedicated ped-hog.

Nice book! I normally do not go for GA above 5.0 due to cost; however, I figured this would be the cheapest pedigree copy of a WWII Cap I could find.

One of my all-time favorite Timely's :

After owning one of two highest graded 9.6s of my favorite, furry, forest fighting friend's first appearance for a couple years.......I finally found a copy to replace it with.

I didn't think it would turn out to be such a Near Mint/Mint replacement though.

now that's a funny book!!! great looking copy man that is spectacular!!

every chicago-con, i cherry-pick a few raw books of mine i think might grade pretty good, and use the on-site service. these weren't ready by the time i left, but bedrock was kind enough to grab them and mail 'em to me. needless to say, it was worth the wait.
