We should be talking/celebrating this sale, but it seems like there's a vacuum. This most likely will be the record price paid for an Archie 1! Any predictions as to how high the price will go? I was tempted by the 7.0 restored. I assume the pieces added/ct was at the top of the cover. Didn't look that good to me. I would have been in on a better presenting copy at that restored grade. I would've liked to of seen the 8.0 go higher of course, but in general it still shows how strong the Archie 1 market is. I was really worried about possible restoration (since it couldn't be examined prior to purchase). I was happy to get a blue label and mid-grade.
