• Superior Spiderman 1 sketch variant 8.0 - 8.5 (low grade)
  
• Superior Spiderman 29 9.6-9.8 (also, very low grade according to some people)
  
• Amazing Spiderman 200 8.0 - 8.5
  
• Amazing Spiderman 194 - 8.0-8.5 except for gunk on bc that brings it down to a 6.0-6.5 - PGM thread
  
• Amazing Spiderman 66 I agree this is lower grade...probably 4.0-5.0
  
• Amazing Spiderman 67 - I'll stand by the 9.0-9.2 (very low grade)

ASM 100 8.0 CGC - who would want such a low grade?!?!?

"Sample Page 2" by Juan Falk (Juan2.0)

 

 

OPTION 4:

CGC 9.6 ASM 606 SS JSC and a strike for me (hopefully 3 of them)

Take the book I took. It should arrive tomorrow and I'll just slap a new shipping label on the box.

I guess Jeff was just hurt by some unneded comments; pretty understandable considered the situation. It does not need to be remarked that it was a more than adequate offer.

The only reason I was not tempted to pick it is that ASM is among the series I collect selectively, going by stories or arcs alone, and I would have only been interested in a pair of books. That is why I asked that question.

If I could take just part of the offer, I was already considering it… but Red beat me. Good for him!

And manicnerd, I have NO idea where the FDQ moment came from. I've said nothing to you in public or via PM. I love this whole "inner circle" thing that has started. Do you think certain people have secret decoder pins or power rings? kav has been very vocal in this thread...no one mentions him? Or vaillant? Or Shadow Images? Where does the "inner circle" begin and end? So no one has taken your offerings - why not TRY to switch it up like every single person has done before you the entire month? Why not ASK some people that are regulars in the thread instead of waiting until 5 hours before your offer is set to expire, then about it and pulling a tantrum. I don't force anyone to take anything - including your offering. I made an exception to the 48 hour rule so that ANYONE can claim your offer. So I guess the easiest thing to do it person_without_enough_empathy about how terrible and unfun this thread is and demand to be excluded because that makes so much sense.

Sorry to hear about what you're going through, just helped my father-in-law through it the past 6 months.

In the scheme of things this thread is meaningless. The offer was good and if no one likes it or mocks it who cares? Being mocked in this thread has about as much meaning as a plot in a porno.

There are things in this world that really matter, giving people free stuff isn't one of them. You should remove all your offers, replace it with a copy of X-Force 1 and take your strike, never to return again.

Manicnerd is my friend, but even if he wasn't I did not see anything wrong with the offer. I actually would have liked to have claimed it myself in normal situations but I knew it would be viewed as "bailing" out a friend, even though no bailing out was needed. I have been trying to get him to give up that art piece above to me for a while.

As far as this inner circle that some people think exists just to hand out strikes, I can tell you it does not exist. Actually the opposite would be more accurate. Swick is my friend on here and off of the site, but we have gotten into so many arguments and disagreements over this thread that we talk a fraction as much as much as we used to. If that is some happy inner circle that people want to be a part of, then be my guest. Oh, and trust me, even if there was an inner circle, 1Cool would not be a part of it.

It seems to me if this Spiderman offer isn't what a single person considers worth grabbing this thread has pretty much been narrowed down to those that have already participated. Could be wrong but I'm thinking people really are afraid to grab something.

I'd love to participate, but the offers I would have claimed were taken before I had a chance.

 

I already have most all of the comics in current offer thats been up for the past few days.

 

I'm sure there are others like me. Who visit the boards usually about once a day. The 30 day rule is good if you want more participation.
