Symbiotic is STILL shilling his eBay auctions!!!! guess an old dog does not change their spots... or is it a leopard can't learn new tricks? I always forget. He's currently the lead dog on 4 of his comic offerings. You would think that a fan of such a wide variety of modern comics would throw a bid here or there on an eBay offering for someone other than Symbiotic since there is an abundance of these books on eBay. The other titles include Sheltered #1 CGC 9.6, Superior Spider-Man 25 CGC 9.6, Sex Criminals #1 CGC 9.4 (He DOUBLE shilled this one (thumbs u ) The wonderful name of this shill? D***_ O symbi that name describes you to a T

Hello guys! I'm writing this post because I had a problem with an user named sslim66

 

We had two transactions. I was the buyer, he was the seller.

 

The first one included 3 books for $380 + shipping. I asked for a priority mail international with insurance shipping to Europe. He agreed and told me shipping cost $50, then I paid and he sent the books.

 

However, he did not sent the books via Priority and did not put insurance. He also declared a $45 value. Luckily I got the package and everything was fine but one thing: the shipping cost $26 instead of $50. Also, the box he sent me was a box he had received from another guy, so he didn't have to pay for buying it. When I was about to ask him for a refund of the difference between $50 and $26 he told me he had lost his job, so if I wanted to purchase some more books I'd have been welcome.

 

 

I purchased a few other books from him because I thought he needed money and asked again for a priority shipping. I didn't want to pay $50 and be fooled again, so I told him the shipping with priority should have cost around $39 because I got some other books shipped via Priority for $39. He said it was ok, so I paid and he shipped a few days later. He said he shipped first class for $35, and at that moment I got a little bit angry, since it was the second time he didn't ship with the method I told him to ship. I asked for a $4 refund, but he said it was for gas + box. Then I told him that he made me pay $50 instead of $26 for the first transaction's shipping, but he just ignored me and left the conversation.

I haven't received the last package yet.

 

I'm asking for a $24 refund for the first transaction + some dollars refunding the difference between the cost of the last transaction's shipping and what I paid, which is surely at least 4$, since I paid $39 and he said the shipping cost $35.

I asked for the posts receipt of the last shipping, but he hasn't answered yet.

I wrote a post on his kudos thread saying he had fooled me. He wrote some bad posts as well on my kudos thread and his one, which I answered to. Then we started talking privately and he also started insulting me: http://postimg.org/image/ox4twofmd/

 

Then I told Architecht about what happened and he suggested me to write on this thread and deleted my and slim66's kudos threads.

 

I'd like to get my money back, but if this won't be possible at least I have told the board what he's done and maybe you can do something for stopping him fooling and insulting people again.

The books were perfect luckily.

 

I paid $39 and he told me he had paid $35, taking $4 for the box and bubble wrap. Also, the box was an used one which was used by a comic store to send some comics to him.

 

Now I should receive a $24 refund for the first shipping and $9,30 refund for the second one. The total refund should be $33,30, but I'm sure the seller won't send me those money back, unluckily... Thanks for putting him in the PL list, at least he won't fool people again.

He lied lots of times, insulted me and also sent to my email addres a lot of gay sites spam mails as he used my email address to subscribe to some gay sites. How can I know it was him that did it? Well, the mails started arriving after some minutes after he was put in the PL list. Also, the email account of mine is known only to a few people, since I use it only for these boards and a couple more sites and I've almost never shared it with any other person.

It wouldn't be a problem to receive those mails if I was the only one using that email address. I'm not homophobic so I could have just laugh a little bit for what he did. The problem is that I share that email address on my main PC at home, with my children using it for playing games. When I get a mail it gets notified on the home screen, so my little children started seeing some naked men on the pc while playing. That's not fun at all. That made me really angry.

For this reason I fear that he could do what he did to me again to another person, so I won't ask that he gets removed from the PL. I don't know the rules, but if you think he should be removed, remove him from the PL and I will respect the rules. If you need my word for removing him, don't remove him.

If he said he'd pay you $33.30 and only paid you $30, I'd make him pay the amount he said he'd pay. Otherwise, he stays on the PL.

Then the second shipment you spent $39 and he told you it was $35+$4 for box and wrap right? So shouldn't you therefore get on the second amount the difference between $35 and what he paid ($29.70) which would be $5.30. The total refund therefore would be $29.30 which he gave you $30 for. I understand that you want him to remain on the list because of your issues with him but the PL isn't meant for that (your own personal Do Not Deal With list is for that ) If he has satisfactorily made restitution then he should be removed from the list. I'm just trying to understand if you feel he has made satisfactory restitution.

You asked for a refund on shipping and the response from sslim66 was way out of line. He gave you a refund which means he should be taken off the PL. However, that doesn't excuse how he handled the situation.

So I offered the Germany guy $40 and he said no, he wants me to send him a replacement and he'll pay for shipping.

 

How did he know I'd have replacements of a Wonder Woman #1 CGC 9.8 SS Cliff Chaing?

 

The $40 was a decent offer, again he should have pursued it through the ebay system in a timely manner. Asking for complete replacement at this time seems like a bit much.

I don't agree with this. Supplies are not cheap. Asking for another $3.30 sounds petty. You received a refund and should move on. Sorry if that's not what you want to hear.

Ok then I would suggest sending him a polite PM explaining that the difference in cost for shipping was $33.30 and that if he sends you the remaining $3.30 you will consider the matter closed and he will be removed from the PL.

I don't believe him, when I sell stuff I always have boxes and bubble wrap at home that came from other shippings, so I just re-use them without making the buyer pay for box and bubble wrap, and he probably does it too. Also, there wasn't much of it inside the package..

 

I just make the buyer pay for the shipping price. Also I asked for priority shipping for $39, he agreed, and then sent first class, lying once more on the shipping price.

 

He lied multiple times and behaved like a kid.

 

I think I should receive another $3,30. If I do receive that money I'll be satisfied, because I'll get back the amount he shouldn't have taken from me.

 

However, I won't suggest anybody to deal with him if he does get removed from the PL list.

He clearly sent me some used boxes he received before which surely contained bubble wrap. He also buys a lot from the boards, so I think my guessing is right. Also, as I said, the bubble wrap wasn't much. The packages were poor, especially the second and he almost surely lied when he told me about the $4, as he always lied about the shipping costs.

However, as I said, I don't feel like I received the total amount I should have been sent back, but I have no decisional power. If you feel to remove him from the PL list do it, if not I won't ask for removal.

Zombie, I'm just trying to understand the 33.30 you asked for as a refund. You paid 50 dollars on the first shipment and he spent 26. So $24 there. Then the second shipment you spent $39 and he told you it was $35+$4 for box and wrap right? So shouldn't you therefore get on the second amount the difference between $35 and what he paid ($29.70) which would be $5.30. The total refund therefore would be $29.30 which he gave you $30 for. I understand that you want him to remain on the list because of your issues with him but the PL isn't meant for that (your own personal Do Not Deal With list is for that ) If he has satisfactorily made restitution then he should be removed from the list. I'm just trying to understand if you feel he has made satisfactory restitution.
