Got an e-mail from PayPal today stating that the "buyer has filed a chargeback with his or her credit card company stating that the buyer did not authorize the payment."...guess who the buyer was...lagiant888

Found this thread compliments of Google. He's trying to take me for $1,565 for a Daredevil #1 that I recently sold on E-bay.

I just sent PayPal the tracking information for the book. I went the signature confirmation route with this book because I had to file a non-payment claim on E-bay before he paid. Seemed shady from the get-go and I should have just trusted my gut and cancelled the transaction before shipping the book off. Now I have to deal with this thief.

I am going to call PayPal tomorrow. Will post any updates here. This guy needs to get what's coming to him

Bookmarking this thread now for future reference.

I always file NPBs automatically (I think it happens after 4 days). I'd rather just relist the book than get the runaround.

Also, even though you can't leave negative feedback, I noticed that there is now an option to "report" the buyer.

Has anyone here used that option?

Just a bump regarding Armen Sahakian from State College, PA.

You owe it to yourself if you sell on eBay to read this thread. He is still apparently very active.

He's no longer using lagiant888 as I tried to add it and I got a message that it's an invalid ID

He is always using a different eBay name. It changes all the time.

He just "won" three books from me two days ago. I've already initiated cancellation proceedings and sold the books to other interested parties.

His current eBay ID to block is happyman24 and from that ID history texastoast808.

The account has been active since August of 2010, has 79 positive feedback (no negative) and the last transaction (before mine) was September of 2013.

Peace,

Chip

Thanks to this forum, I was able to block his attempts to purchase stuff from me in the past year. This guy seems to be a real scammer.

I'll be adding happyman24 to my blocked bidders list for sure.

Don't forget to also block:

Sold a black science 9.6 on ebay to a buyer 0 feedback name marvel209comics sold at actually almost 3 weeks ago still no pay, sent a message saying all boxed up awaiting payment, reply was short saying he would pay the upcoming Sunday 4 days later, well that was 2 weeks ago and still no payment. Might be worth the hassle to block this guy, opened a case awaiting for ebay to decide

Hi guys,

I recently ran across this person Armen as well.

He never paid for a book I had for sale. There was no hesitation on my part to say this guy never paid. All I had to do was file a report.

I actually waited over a month to do another sale on the same item. Guess who was the highest bidder was again! Only this time, this person was using a different alias AND a different name.

So I guess you might be wondering - how do I know it was him? I checked the mailing addresses of where the product had to be sent to and sure enough, they were identical to the last alias he had.

Called ebay. By this point, I call it fraud. They agree. They apparently are in the process of deleting his accounts.

So there's no point in me putting up accounts aliases that will no longer be registered. However, I do advise people to check the mailing address in this thread. If you see it, be very suspicious!

Also, the biggest inconvenience I had to deal with is some ebay users asking me why this item is relisted. I am sure this person does know that it could devalue a sale because the item might be "questionably" relisted on ebay by the same person (like me).

yeah, he just bid and won an auction from me on Ebay for Iron Fist #14, 9.6. He has never responded and never paid. I filed a complaint and opened a case against him. If he doesn't pay in two days, it will close and I will get my seller fees back. But before I do, I am going to leave him negative feedback then close the case. His new user name on Ebay is

sahak2015

A total loser. Never responded to invoices or messages. He is buying several books and is up to 15 positive feedbacks as of July 6, 2015.

cad290 was the bidder on my GSX 1 CGC 9.8 - he bought a big 5 figure book from another board member that I spoke to so I didn't think I'd have a problem but he broke all contact with me, even stood me up in NYC where he said he'd meet me to pay for his book.

Amazingly enough Armen Sahakian is the name of the guy who has me waiting nearly 5 weeks for $1500 only his eBay name is adsahakian1 on my books.

Wonder if we all have the same piece of work bidding on these books under different eBay id names?

:o

Armen stiffed me too for $3100 on eight comics. His new ID is sahak2015. Armen Daniel Sahakian. He wouldn't even communicate with me. I went through the NPB process and have made them available to second place bidders.

I had a guy withdraw a bid at the last second which was annoying. I messaged him after the listing ended as I gave him the benefit of the doubt as it was possible that because he was the sole bidder he didn't want to compete with himself or show his hand and would place a last minute bid at the end.

No bid, no reply so perhaps I will block him. A shame too since he had over 5,000 +'s.
