So I was reading Batman Adventures #23 then I noticed Harley Quinn. Is that even considered an appearance? hm(shrug)

Seriously, I don't consider this an appearance. :sumo:

I never check for that. Maybe i should start. I guess 63% makes it pretty much a given...

It's slightly weaker than Darkseid's appearance in Jimmy Olsen #134, and that's hard to do....(although i do love the heck out of that Jimmy olsen issue for some reason)

It's not. "She" isn't in the book. A photo of her is. Too much of a stretch, surely.

At least Darkseid speaks!

I personally consider it an appearance because it is an original piece of HQ art that can't be found elsewhere (admittedly it's super tiny and insignificant) If this was a live action still with the picture of an actress I would .feel different.... In this case the artist drew her in.

But I can definitely see where someone would argue against this.

Why do you consider it an appearance?

You don't need to be in the narrative to appear.

It's funny how people view appearances like these. Most of you guys seem to see it as insignificant. I see the opposite. It's an appearance the goes under the radar until it's uncovered by an enthusiastic collector. I understand most collectors want the flashy cover done by the hot artist and that's all well and good but one of the reasons I collect Harley appearances ( and early Deadpool appearances ) is because they are hard to find. Even BA 12 was unknown to collectors for some time despite the fact that she's on the cover. This particular issue is similar to Batman and Robin Adventures 1 where Harley appears on a poster on the cover. Both issues are early appearances that I would want to own.

I have to find my list but there are more Harley Quinn appearances but on the cover only.

Batman: Gotham Adventures #1

Batman & Robin Adventures #1

Batman Adventures Vol. 2 #27

Batman Strikes

I leave it up to the Harley Quinn collectors to decide whether the appearance is significant or not. Ask Bosco about Deadworld #10. Now Deadworld #10 is important issue for Crow collectors. I just provide the information.
