I like American comics. I've been reading them for 40 years!

My mother would buy me a Mad magazine every time I went to hospital for a check up. (Which was every three months.) That started when I was six!

My first truly collectable comic; Vault of Horror 35. Xmas cover. Probably a VG.

Bought at a second hand book shop for $10. I was 19.

Since then ... well lets say I have a few more.

I let my 14 year old read it about six months ago. He found it "Cool". Not a Walking Dead, which he loves, but he enjoyed it.

.....and really a great story about your boy reading it,super cool.What a positive thing,father sharing comics with son.Some of my best memories of my Papa are reading comics with him,from toddler to the end of his time on earth.RIP Papa,hope you can fold the comics over to read in one hand in your heaven.
