Has anyone tried this stuff? I don't mean spraying it on a comic (egad) -- I was thinking maybe using it to treat a long box.

Ever since I dipped my *spoon* in latex paint, I try not to act on every idea that pops into my head.

I think that life's too short for this. I want back my ignorance and bliss. I think I've had enough of this. Blow me... one last kiss.

You can tell the truth or you can lie. You can say I left you or I died. Say I'm in the Himalayas on some spiritual quest and could spend years lookin' for the light. Say I'm in the witness program with the F.B.I. Say a U.F.O. abducted me from home. Well, you can say what you chose, but I tell you the truth. You can say for sure I'm gone.

That "Make your own condom kit" wasn't worth it, eh?

Logan510 in Sept of 2014: I sent a batch of books to RMA to work on and submit for me. The attention to detail, updates, evaluations of each and every book and quick responses to questions really stick out. To say I'm pleased with the results would be an understatement. I don't have the books in hand yet, but the grades were spot on or better than expected in several cases.

The crown jewel of the bunch has to be the X-Men #64, first appearance of Sunfire that came back a 9.8 with white pages. Just that one book alone paid for my trip to Heroes Con ( where I bought it ) 4 times over.

RMA is a good dude, who is very passionate about his craft.

Thank you

Hose down a long box, toss in a few dozen *spoon* comics, and see what happens. I'm sure someone will be happy to donate some XForce books for this experiment.

Deacidification sprays are quite common. If you do a search on the word, you'll find a few different threads on the subject. People do spray their own books.

I don't see the point in making a box acid free when your books are probably bagged and boarded (I'm assuming they are).

The books themselves are the problem as the acids in the paper is what causes degradation.

This is from a post I made last week:

I asked about it back in 2006 when I found out about it.
