Sorry to hear it. You might want to send pms to other people who bought from the same thread to see if they've got their books.

I was trying to see which sales thread you bought from, but I cant find a purchase by you from one of Yannis's threads. Were you a PM purchaser?

He seems to be back, but again, I cant tell what purchase you made, so as Speedy asked "deets?"

I had a transaction with Yannis not too long ago. He bought something and then went AWOL for a while. It was a runaround for a bit and I became miffed. When he got back with me, he seemed to minimize it and referred me to a few reputable Boardies that would confirm he's the real deal. He eventually came through with payment in full. But, for whatever it's worth, mixed feelings at best for the single transaction I had with him.

I don't have "run-ins" with too many people, but I did with him and I remember. I also remember him having a FDQ k ;)exit but he came back straight to the selling forums.

These were the links I found about the previous problem. What I remember most is that he twisted his answer to every question and yes, there had been a previous problem, but I didn't remember when that one was. In this case, his description seemed kind of off, but instead of just saying..."whoops" he made it my problem because I had the temerity to call him on it.

twen37 is a total scammer. His name is Thomas McNeely and I bought a Silver Age Sgt. Fury #13 from him for $499 off of ebay - but he didn't go through with it - he refunded my money from paypal saying he couldn't get his money because he was new as a seller - and he then directed me to go through his site, I figured what the he"" - so I paid and he offered me a break for the inconvenience - $450.00 - but instead of a SA Sgt. Fury #13, he sent me a 1994 JC Penny reprint - I contacted him immediately and he's been ducking me ever since. This guy is an instant HOS'er. Stay as far away as possible.

 

Is he a boardie? If not, there really is no way to put him on the PL.

On 3/13/13, I agreed to purchase two NM+ copies of PP 3 and two NM+ copies of PP 4 from zombizzy.

When the books were received, they were not as described due to shipping damages and possible overgrading.

Nevertheless, I asked for him to accept a return and he decided he wanted to do a partial refund. When I declined, he was nominated and placed on the PL list.

I am happy to announce that today, zombizzy (Oscar) has refunded me the full amount of the books and I remove any objections to him being removed from the PL. I realize A.Romeo has to remove his objections as well and Oscar has said he's reaching out to get things square with him.

I applaude zombizzy for wanting to get right with the community and look forward to his contributions to the group.
