Is there a technical term for the top edge of the front cover being a tiny bit ruffled like that?

Just overhang.

7.5 as is
Should press into the 8s.

Looks like great paper quality.

That URFC "dog ear" looks suspicious to me. It shows on my screen as a darker blue line than the rest of the cover. Like it could be a CT of a CBC. 2c
But we would need to see the inside front to tell for sure. \(shrug\)

What does "CT of a CBC" mean? That's jargon I'm not familiar with. Thanks.

color touch of a color breaking crease

and he's right, it certainly looks like someone went over that with a marker or pen.

I agree and I believe you can see a hint of bleedthrough on the BC scan.

It's definitely a light spot of some kind. Not a crease. I've had this book for about 30-35 years, from back when these were in the cheap bins. Don't think anyone would have worried about restoring it with a marker back then. I didn't notice it though until you guys mentioned. Could actually be a hint of water damage. Thanks for the comments!
