Alfred saw him and Selina in the cafe yes...

Ahhhh. So Bruce wasn't really in the jet to begin with. It was filmed that way just to give the viewer that impression. Very clever.
It would be great to see it again, given your response.
Thanks!
Warning, Spoiler:
During the "wrap-up" with Lucius, the techs said the auto-pilot had been fixed and Bruce Wayne's tech login was recorded as having fixed it, so there's the explanation for how he got away from the blast.
I saw it today, and I did not enjoy it. I found Bane very difficult to understand consistently and that ruined it for me. I likes Hathaway's Catwoman though. 4/10 from me.
Quick answers (spoiler warning). Here are some observations:
I am on an iPad, so my grammar, may sound simple. Sentence structure is second when pounding on a virtual keyboard.
Remember, that part of the film centers around a device 'Selina' wants to clear her name. This can be used to explain part of the end, especially the line from the estate attorney about the 'missing pearl necklace.'
On a side note: I hated the fact that he had to go broke. Yes, chances are, when all was said and done, and after fraud was discovered; the money would be returned...but still...
They did check part of the device on the bomb and noted that Bruce Wayne 'had fixed it' many months before. I believe he used some sort of distraction to make it appear the blast was worse than what it was, as a way to make everyone think he was dead...
As for the end; Alfred, like most employees, probably takes his vacation the same time every year. Bruce planned this to offer closure to Alfred because he knew he would blame himself....

Question: "I was wondering how you deal with collectors and speculators who truly believe that the items they are buying now are going to be worth a lot of money in the future...?"
ANSWER: "The safest approach is to avoid discussing the topic of future collectability with these individuals: first, they know more than anyone else; second, they are deaf to any opinion that does not agree with their own; third, they are misguided optimists, assuming past practice could not possibly apply in their case."
-Harry Rinker; 'The Myth of the Guaranteed Collectible' (originally posted on WorthPoint and Harry Rinker's own website)
There were some things I did not like about the movie but overall was very happy with the last installation. Overall I was was happy with the movie and will see it again.
Here are the issues: -The music as others noted was not exactly what I would have chosen
-The movie was a bit long, it could have been shortened some
-The fact that Bruce Wayne goes into seclusion for 8yrs is a bit much and also this makes his physical recovery harder to believe
-Length of time that the city is cut off and under Bane rule is completely unrealistic
Here are the Highlights: -The movie does a good job of integrating and concluding while leaving doors cracked
-LOVED the female representation in this movie two really BAD/good girls :-) nice to see women getting more play and importance
-Well written, directed, and produced... the trilogy is not your standard super hero type movies
-Impressive cinematography.
-loved having Bruce lose everything and die or pretend to die (whichever you believe) because that brings him closer to all the rest of us mere mortals
I too am looking forward to seeing it in IMAX, which was sold out since we went on opening day.

Saw it again on an IMAX screen(not one of the faux digital ones, but a theater that had true 70mm film), and I have to say it's now my favorite of the three movies. There still isn't a character in this movie that is as electrifying as the Joker, but this is Bruce Wayne's story all the way, and they did a great job on that aspect. Also, Anne Hathaway is the best live action Catwoman ever. Great movie.

Is a movie about a billionaire punching out criminals in the wee hours of the morning in a bat suit suppose to be realistic???
I refused to read any threads that had TDKR in it. I did not read any reviews and I only seen clips that were played on T.V. so it would not be spoiled for me. Seen the movie on Friday, horrible experience! I was surrounded by cell phone users, 6yrs old children talking, teenage girls laughing and numerous people walking around.
I really liked the movie, cannot wait till I see it again.....maybe tonight, when the theatre is not so crowded.
