Since the British summer ultimately arrived yesterday I finally dragged the bike out of mothballs and hit the roads and bike tracks - 30 miles yesterday, and 35 today. I need something soft to sit on now!

Hopefully this will be a regular thing - or until the rains come back with a vengeance - and I'll post some pics of local wonderment in this thread.

At the start of the year i had three working bikes but one was stolen and another has had to have various bits replaced so it's somewhat unreliable now and I only use that for work or short trips up to 30 miles. This is the main bike.

Fifty minutes out from home and I was moving up into the local hills.

Then it was back down the other side and a short drinks break in a local park.

Fortunately the rain stayed away.

Great pictures. I have logged around 400 miles so far this year. That sounds like a weeks worth by your standards.

This photo was taken at a nearby trail in late June.
