doh\! Speak for yourself.

He made a joke during a international football tournament saying he would support anybody but the English and has had to put up with this nonsense ever since.

Who said the English don't have a sense of humour?

I do remember years back when Murray said that his dream was always winning the US Open, not Wimbledon.

A very cool weekend of tennis. Can't believe we get to do it again, in a sense, in a few weeks with the Olympics at Wimbledon.

It's wild that Fed is #1 again but he's won a bunch of titles in the past nine months.

Don't have TV at my house right now, so I missed the match.

Congrats to Federer. Truly the GOAT.

The US Open is his favourite tournament to play.

He won it as a junior, he prefers the atmosphere there and there is no pressure on him.

It's hard to describe the unbelievable pressure that the media and the public put on him at Wimbledon.

Looking forward to tennis at the Olympics now, though I think they have copped out somewhat by making the rounds before the final best of three sets.

Roger Federer's seventh Wimbledon championship and 17th Grand Slam singles title was notable for many historic reasons. It also provided us with one of the great betting stories of recent memory. Nine years ago, a man from Great Britain bet £1,520 pounds ($2,361.96) at 66-1 odds that Federer would win Wimbledon at least seven times. The man who placed the wager passed away in 2009. However, the ticket was still cashed yesterday by a charity organization for $157,749.85
