I'm 30 minutes into A PERFECT GETAWAY and then they start talking about a SA MARVEL collection. Completely unexpected. Then again, they wouldn't stop mentioning NICK CAGE leading up to it.
Any other surprising comic book moments in movies out there?

There was a 60s movie featuring a villian who bought up multiple copies of rare books and shredded all but one copy to increase that copies value. Sorry, can't remember the title.

I forget the name of the movie,( but it was the prequel to Hunt For Red October starring Denzel) Two sailors are fighting, Denzel breaks it up and asks what it was about, one of the sailors says they were fighting over who's version of Silver Surfer was better, Kirby's or Mobius's. Denzel laughs and says " everyone knows it was Kirby's, right?"
Also, Lennon reading Jimmy Olsen comics in Help!

And I'll need to find time to watch it again but I think there are some comic references in the Quentin Tarantino segment of "Four Rooms"

You need IT to get IT. And you certainly need IT to get more of IT. But if you don't all ready have any of IT to begin with, you can't get any of IT to get started which means you really have no idea how to get any of IT in the first place, do you? You can share IT, sure. You can even stock pile IT if you like. But you can't fake IT. Wanting IT, needing IT, wishing for IT. The point is, if you've never had any of IT, ever, people just seem to know.
