Andrew, knowing you the way I do, Transmetropolitan would be an excellent choice.

Read a review of it.

Not really, and I was very surprised at how low-brow and infantile the writing actually was. Interesting concept, but horrible execution.

You have a perfectly good custom title. There are children in (random economically under developed country name) that would LOVE to have your custom title.

Thanks guys. Based on recommendations and what looks interesting to me, I'll try the following:

From Hell by Alan Moore (love the era)

Ex Machina

Fables (I've been curious about this series for a long time)

I'm also going to pick up the Game of Thrones books, and I've already got a huge stack of PS3 games.

We'll see what wins.

Fables is also on my to do list.

I'm a little put off that it doesn't seem like it's coming anywhere close to an end.

You can stop Fables at issue # 75 and consider yourself done with the series once the Emperor story line is over. I know I should have

Thanks for that, Scrooge.

Are you of the majority or minority view, do you think?

He's right. It's a good stopping point.

Agreed. I enjoyed up to 75. I keep waiting for fables to get good again and it never does.

That's a bummer. That is right about where I am at with the trades. \:\(

I have only read the first trade but I enjoyed the heck out of it and look forward to the rest of it. \(thumbs u

No, I've had the reconstruction already. Luckily it's just meniscus trimming, but I'm gonna be a couch potato for a couple of weeks just to be safe. I've lengthened my recovery on previous surgeries by not resting enough, and I can't afford to do that again.
