Or if you're gonna be in hospital for awhile, do the whole Cerebus run. (Or does that rate as art-house gunk?)

I am four weeks post op my third knee surgery.

So, here's a flower.

From Hell by Alan Moore (brilliant why dunnit and piercing look at Victorian Era England)
League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Alan Moore (you know you wanna)
Promethea, Alan Moore (kaballah and nudity)
Wimbeldon Green, Seth (not pretentious- I promise)

pre 2000 but should consider:

Judge Dredd Case Files (kitzch camp meets punk rock)
Any Carl Barks Duck Books (because you should)
Nexus, Mike Baron and Steve Rude

I hope that, whoever you are, you escape this place. I hope that the world turns and things get better. But I hope most of all that you understand that even though I will never meet you, laugh with you, cry with you, or kiss you, I love you. With all my heart, I love you. I just finished Jonathan Hickman's Red Mass for Mars and thought it was kind of interesting. Lots of stuff going around and I could not get over how one of the main characters looked like Paul Giamotti.
