I mention this often because of how much I enjoyed the series, but the latest Unknown Soldier by Joshua Dysart and Alberto Ponticelli. It's only 25 issues, but a heck of an great read.

Fables is awesome! Definitely one of the best. Start at the beginning. Volume one is good but it's two and three where things really take off.
