Well looks like we are going to find out....Harley Yee graded it VF so it will be interesting to see what happens with the grade. Rest of the book looks pretty clean

I would be surprised if CGC would give it a 6.0, more like a 5.5.

I think the prominent location of that tear will cause more of a downgrade. I agree 5.5 is a possibility. I really don't know how Harley graded that a VF.

I'm surprised Harley would call it VF.....I wonder if it may just be a printer's wrinkle that "looks" like a tear ? GOD BLESS...

So here is another question, if I were to have someone put archival tape on it would that kill the grade further or bring it up?

The tear is still there, how can it improve the grade ? I suppose the tape may prevent the tear from becoming worse but I still wouldn't do it. Judging by your reaction it is obvious you regret the purchase. A Harley VF is not going to be cheap. I am sorry but the situation is what it is. I don't think there is any magic that can get you an 8.0 from CGC .
