Sorry...I don't have FLASH COMICS #96...only #'s 70...72...75...86
...87...90...93...97...98...99...& 104 that I bought on the newsstand
and still have.

Flash 104! And off the newstand. Do you have the Flash baseball cover?(forget the issue)
BTW I grew up in philly. Spent a lot of time in Fat Jacks when it was a real comic store. Ever eat at Sandy's Restaurant (breakfast and lunch...hoagies, philly steaks...) at 24th and Locust?

The one Baseball Cover with The FLASH is #90 from December,
1947..."Nine Empty Uniforms". The issue has a great JOHNNY
THUNDER & BLACK CANARY story plus a Kubert HAWKMAN
and HAWKGIRL story. I still have this issue...but I don't know if
there are any other Baseball Covers.
Left Philadelphia in 1945 long before there was such a thing as a
"Comic Book Store".

I go to Fat Jack's about once a week since I work right down the street. They are a pale shadow of what they once were, but there's still some good stuff if you know where to look.

it's nice to see someone who was around back then is able to handle our newfangled internet machines. i can feel myself getting resistant to new technology already, but you give me hope!

still would love to see a thread of scans of those original owner books

This is about as technical as I get...still trying to figure out how
to scan my books.
When and if I find out how to get them on the board how should
I do it...by year...by title...by publisher...or, alphabetically?

Just about every publisher/genre has a thread dedicated to them here in GA, so you can posts your books that way, or you can post them in this thread to keep them all in one place \(thumbs u
