NGC Members are friends
Back at the end of February, a fellow member had decided to sell off and reduce his collection. I knew that he had a rare set he aquired that I was very interested in. I contacted him and we agreed on a price and to make it short, he decide not to sell off, but if he did the set was mine.
Well a couple of weeks ago I got an email asking if I still wanted the set as he was definitly calling it quits. Of course I said I still wanted it, and we made the purchase arrangements and it came Friday.
Folks, and fellow members what we have here is honesty, integrity, and thoughtfulness. He kept my name and contacted me like he said he would when he decided to sell. I call it friendship in the fact that we are both members of a group who watch out for one another. Just like Six Mile Rick and his friend who he has never met, but helped out. I look at this the same, buddy, you know who you are and I am proud to say you are indeed my friend even tho we have never met either.
We agreed to keep in touch and he would continue to be a member and we would share experience whether between us or looking farther into the Followers and Following family of friends.
That is awesome. I think a lot of us could share similar experiences with our fellow collectors and that is what makes collecting exciting and fun for me.

I whole heartedly agree!! I consider all of you my friends!! This is such a great forum to share and enjoy this great hobby.
I've also made several transactions with Society members and each and every one came off with the utmost success, with the highest integrity and without any problems.

This is the best place to meet honest collectors/dealers. We might fight with each other but at the end of the day, we are all like family.. connected by a common thread.
Ive done more business with folks on here than anywhere else.. to include Ebay..
