That's bananas.
There's no more effort or drama that surrounds the VCC than any other area of the boards. Actually, there's probably less with the exception of the Birthday Money brouhaha a few years back and the Bully/Hissy Fit pantomime of 2012.
Plus, you don't have to worry about bumping your listing to the top every few hours or someone taking a big old squat and dump in your booth.

Well, it's always a first for someone. This was my first VCC and I really enjoyed looking through everyone's stuff. I bought a bunch of low end stuff and was excited to get all of it. Thanks to everyone who participated!
The only thing I was grumpy about was not placing in the costume contest

There isn't much of a story to go along with it, other than, he had birthday money and he was/was not spending it in the VCC...for some reason, probably best understood by himself.

Why? It's cool part of the community. The the logistics can be time consuming- but not more than most internet listings.
