I had a copy that I sold online for a little under $100 a few years ago.
The problem is I didn't add tracking like I often do. The buyer from e-bay quickly filed a claim stating he never got the book. I called the post office, I called different branches, I had a receipt from the post office but it didn't do any good.
I've never had an item lost in the mail, EVER! I have since banned the buyer from my auctions do to his questionable behavior during the event.
But I learned a hard lesson..... always add tracking.

Now the guys trying to sell a random comic with THE WALKING DEAD in the title. Amazing. I think the book is just published by Image or something too and has no Kirkman affiliaction. hilarious.

I thought about your post and I must admit that I'm that way with Avengers 57. I will never own a copy of that book.
Tell the story.

An inch... It is small, and fragile, and it is the only thing in the world worth having. We must never lose it or give it away. We must never let them take it from us. I hope that, whoever you are, you escape this place. I hope that the world turns and things get better. But I hope most of all that you understand that even though I will never meet you, laugh with you, cry with you, or kiss you, I love you. With all my heart, I love you. It seems strange that my life should end in such a terrible place, but for three years, I had roses, and apologized to no one.

That is Boardie Peasofcrap. Always been 100% stand-up guy with me. If he said the book was lost, I would venture to say it was lost. Questionable to me is a guy who is that twisted up about a sub-$100 deal that he is willing to trash someone years later. Why don't you post your own Ebay name so I can make sure I never deal with you, please.
Be happy to my name/ e-bay handle is grodd. Feel free never to deal with me. Although I can't understand why you find it questionable.
Anything else you want from me, please let me know.

@CaptainOfIndustry: Maybe eBay wasn’t the ideal place to negotiate the purchase of such a costly book. I could never think to spend such money on a single book, especially a silver age book from the 1960s, no matter how I love it (I’m still lacking a lot of issues of Fantastic Four, which I collect, especially FF#1), but if for some reason I were going to buy such a costly book, I would surely do so from a seller I have learned to trust for his integrity, or ask the help of a "Continental US" friend…
I think Watson was being ironic with no offense intended.

"In nomine Patirs"?
@Rip: He should at least tried to solve the problem with you before leaving a negative. I happened to experience the same problem, the seller tried all he could but I never got the comics. About 100USD also in my case. But I never left a negative to him (besides, he shipped the books OK, and I even followed the shipping up to some point, because he provided the tracking number). It’s just "bad luck" (I’m no fatalist, but so to speak).
