Many actors have played Bond & Wayne...

I think there is just too much money to be made on the Cap property & the studio will seek to exploit that potential.

I suppose they would see proper casting as the best way to do that.

In my opinion, Chris Evans did a great job as Cap. I don't see a problem with any of the casting. I wish Thor were a bit bigger in size but all are excellent choices.

Even if they did, it could have been a "play or pay" one to lock him into the Avengers, like Nic Cage's Superman deal.
