Theo, Captain Codpiece from the old price guide ads, is back and at it again.

GREATEST ARTIST WHO EVER LIVED!!!!!

Before you ask, NO, this isn't a joke. This is how he rolls.

Here's a board member here too.

Anyone care to ask him how he could be so sure that he's right when he can't even figure out that it was John Buscema he's talking about drawing Surfer #4 and not Sal?

At that price you would be a fool not to buy it.

Or "Sal Busceme" as Theo calls him.

Wasn't this this same cover that just sold at Heritage for $4.5K?

Oh, it seems as though my question has already been asked and answered on May 13th via ebay:

Question & Answer Answered On
Q: Someone was really ragging on this listing today (because of your high price). Enough so to intrigue me as to the highest price a Sal (as opposed to John) Buscema piece sold for. Highest I was able to come up with was just over $20K, which likewise was a cover (sold in 2011). So I likewise am puzzled that you'd tab this at $60K -- which based on previous sales is at least 3 times value. And did you really just buy this for $4481, or was that just a reserve bid by you as the seller? If the former, then the $60K is even more way out there in left field, previous comparatives notwithstanding. Tsk. And what's with that "Creator of Silver Surfer #4" jazz??? No one out there is hankering after Sal Buscema because he may have inked a particular comic, whether or not penciled by brother John ... May-13-12
A: Not withstanding this is a great cover . Make me an offer I willing to consider an offer less then. $60k .

At least he put some effort into the listing, despite it being riddled with mistakes and wild exaggeration!

Wow, the listing below is even better. Selling an oil painting...makes sure you know it's not a litho, but in the listing he admits it's a "G-Clay"!

NOT A LITHO!!!
