18 is youth. Making stupid mistakes and immaturity. A young character gets to learn and grow; make bad mistakes and learn from them. We can watch a young character mature into a wiser version of themselves.

I read it also and at some parts I wanted to just put the book down and laugh. It really was terrible at least it's an Image 1 so I can sell it pretty quick.

The first issue was horrible, so I can only imagine how bad issue 2 would have to be to be "not as good as the first".
