+1

I have to agree from what I can see. I would really like to see a clear scan of this book and get a better look at that lower outside corner, and see if there are any tears on the edges. Still a great looking book regardless.

TO me, a Fine must be relatively flat with a tight spine....I also tend to disregard books graded as fine if they have more than 1 crease of a quarter inch. Rounded corners on an otherwise nice book help to define a fine for me....GOD BLESS...

5.0 Slight (A) for me. One of my favorite PH covers. \:\)

I agree that it looks like possible CT on the 1" crease in the lower front right corner. That's for sure a crease of some sort, but I'd expect color loss, not color gain (too much gain for soiling). Mine doesn't have any diagonal line in that corner, so I don't think it is from the original printing. This is one isn't old enough to get a GA bump. Can you carefully open the front cover and see if there's any marker bleed-through where that crease is, or near the top staple on the spine?

Hard to say without a high res scan, but you mentioning that made me look closer elsewhere and I noticed an odd dark vertical line that could also be touch under the speech bubble on the left near the spine.

Could just be the way the light is hitting the book though. I have a 4.0 and there is not a darker line there on mine.

Otherwise, I am going 5.0.

Love that book!

This is one of my grails, probably not high enough ( 5.0- 5.5 ) for what I really want but a book that doesn't turn up often enough to be too picky.
I would be asking for a PM on this if I wasn't spent up.
What have you been asking, just out of interest.

With the creases on the bottom right and the spine wear I would go 5.5
