Now that they established Thanos, I wish at some point during any of the upcoming Marvel Studio films we get to see Warlock. I know, it's the Starlin fanboy in me but I would love to see Goldilocks on the big screen. Even a Pixar film will do. Can you imagine Avergers Annual #7 and MTIO Annual #2 adaptation on the big screen?
That would be awesome beyond words!!!

BTW, I saw the Avengers last night (standard 2D version). AWESOME !!! Loved the two end credit scenes as well!
Friday Report: 'Avengers' Amazes with $80.5 Million
It didn't break the opening day record, but The Avengers still got off to one of the best starts ever on Friday. The movie earned $80.5 million, which is the second-highest opening day ever behind last Summer's Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 ($91.1 million). More impressively, when you take midnight grosses out The Avengers scored $61.8 million during the day on Friday, which obliterates Spider-Man 3's previous record of $49.8 million.
Since midnight grosses were only a small part of The Avengers' tally on Friday, it's unlikely that demand is even close to satisfied at this point. Using past summer kick-off comic book movies as a comparison, The Avengers has a legitimate shot at reaching $200 million this weekend. Even if it doesn't get quite that high, it is practically a mathematical certainty that The Avengers winds up setting a new opening weekend record ahead of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2's $169.2 million.
The Avengers accounted for over 80 percent of ticket sales on Friday.

I got a kick out of the "foxing" comment as well. Just got out of the theater...not in my wildest childhood dreams would I have ever though this film would be that good. I'm definitely going back to see it again.

Saw the movie last night on IMAX 3-D.
This movie definitely lived up to the hype.
While Heath Ledger's Jokers performance IMO is still best single comic book performance of all time the Avengers now is by far the best comic book movie of all time.
Will be seeing it again next week once the crowd dies down.
Did anyone see any hidden stuff in the movie? All of use couldn't find anything.
A spoiler alert or a PM would be greatly appreciated if anyone knows what hidden stuff was included on the film.
I loved the scene where HULK jumps into the heli-carrier, and out of nowhere punches Thor in the side of the head...priceless! The entire theatre erupted in laughter!!

I'm doing my part. I bought four tickets yesterday, and will buy one more Sunday night, so that will help out the last minute weekend totals.

Our integrity sells for so little, but it is all we really have. It is the very last inch of us, but within that inch, we are free. I shall die here. Every inch of me will perish. Every inch but one. An inch... It is small, and fragile, and it is the only thing in the world worth having. We must never lose it or give it away. We must never let them take it from us. I hope that, whoever you are, you escape this place. I hope that the world turns and things get better. But I hope most of all that you understand that even though I will never meet you, laugh with you, cry with you, or kiss you, I love you. With all my heart, I love you. It seems strange that my life should end in such a terrible place, but for three years, I had roses, and apologized to no one.
