What is Revival...? Haven't heard of that one.

Revival

Small town murder mystery where the dead return to life for 1 day

Tim Seeley + crime thriller + zombies. What more could you ask for???

Not sure, cant find that many details about it.

Interior art and covers look great. I love the concept that the potential murderer could be any of the townsfolk or one of the temporarily resurrected dead.

It peaked my interst as soon as I saw it in Previews.

Bought one copy of Epic Kill after reading how everyone on here hammered it. I've flicked through it briefly and it LOOKS awesome, which means that the writing must really be terrible lol.

I'll post back when I've actually read it.

I hope that it improves ... I honestly was very disappointed by Thief of Thieves No. 1 but I had lots of faith in Kirkman & Spencer so I knew it would turn around & did. The letter to readers was so bad I just lost hope after reading it. By contrast, Kirkman's letter in the back of TOT was so awesome I knew he was doing something special.

On average, comics take what, 10 minutes to read...? When it's difficult to get through a single issue, that's a VERY BAD SIGN.

Ok, just read it, and while it wasn't the worst book i've ever read, I won't be buying future issues.

All the way through, I kept thinking that is was just a mish mash of scenes from other comics, movies, books etc and then the guy flat out admits it in his letter at the end.

If I'm being charitable, I'll say that it possibly suffers in comparison to the other books being released at the same general time; ToT, Mind The Gap, Saga, Secret etc, etc.

I also read it right after reading Mind The Gap, so that didn't help it.

But, overall it really is just a meh, book and there are already enough of those in the world.

This wasn't as terrible as you guys say. Yeah, it's just a bunch of movie scenes strung together, but the art is great. This dude should get hired by the big 2 off of this book. For art, obviously.
