although it looks as if THFC have steadied the ship a little with a good 4-1 away win at Bolton... Remarkable how as soon as the whole England thing started to vanish, Spurs have regained their form.
If Spurs are doing well next year, someone just needs to start sabotaging Hodgson (assuming he still has a job after this summer) so the rumor mill about Harry will start again.

Blackburn have a chance now as Chelsea will definitely play a weakened team against them in the last match. Not if they've still got an outside chance of 4th, they won't. Going into the Newcastle game, Chelsea still had better than an outside chance to get into 4th, but still didn't field their strongest team. If they won't field their strongest line-up when they still have a real chance at 4th because they prioritize domestic silverware, what are the chances they will do so when their chances at 4th place will be even more marginal and they'll be going for their holy grail?

None.

Then Chelsea could finally adopt an anthem:
"And when you loose control, you'll reap the harvest you have sown. And as the fear grows, the bad blood slows and turns to stone. And it's too late to lose the weight you used to need to throw around. So have a good drown, as you go down, all alone, Dragged down by the stone."
