They'll send you a case of them for nothing.
I've got these, but haven't really figured out how to use them. The amount of packing materials I have to use offset it's usefulness - at least for shipping. Do you have an alternative suggestion for use?

I'd never seen one of those until yesterday. a book i bought off ebay came yesterday in one of those and the 1st thing i thought was that my wife had bought a board game for the kids. really not practical for comics imo. The book i bought was like $20 and the seller had to put like 10,000 styrofoam peanuts in it to fill all the emoty space.

Priority 1097/1092 and 1095 boxes for slabs. 1097/1092 is not necessary, but is good for double boxing.
However, I gladly saved the box I got from MCS recently and used it on a shipment. Very good packaging.

When I ship within the US I double box books but unfortunately, the USPS boxes are
a) a bit on the thin side material wise so double boxing is a must as they puncture/buckle easily and
b) they do not afford a lot of space around the books for cushion which in my experience is a big problem.
When I ship from Canada I use a cardboard sandwich (custom cut cardboard sized to fit a slab) and an oversized box that allows a little bit of float space around the slab sandwich.

In my case, I won three slabbed books. Each was in one of these boxes, the boxes were then wrapped in two giant rubber bands and put in a box chock full of packing peanuts. I'm not sure if they would send the box alone if thats the only thing you ordered. I doubt it, but can't say for certain.

I'm assuming they place it inside another box, because it offers no side protection. I've had two slabs badly cracked when the seller shipped using "just" that box and nothing else.

I love your packaging. The CGC boxes are obviously custom designed for slabs.
I recently won a CGC book and a few raw books from one of your auctions and you charged me $10 for international shipping and I was shocked to receive a large box full of peanuts and superior packing throughout. There is no possible way you could get that box to my door for only $10.
I must say that no seller is perfect and I know you've made a few mistakes or faced the occasional criticism here but you, more than any other dealer, pay attention and fix the problem.
Every other auction house, back issue seller, and retailer should pay attention. You're a serious threat.
