Has it occurred to you guys that in coming generations it will be common to research one's ancestors by digging into their internet histories? Forums, facebook, youtube comments, reddit accounts, blogs, etc etc.
How interesting it will be to look up your great grandfather's comment history on Reddit and get an insight into his life and times. Of course, it'll also be quite sobering to realise that one's distinguished forefathers commented in broken English on the relative merits of different Saturday morning cartoons, occasionally alluding not-so-subtly to what they would like to do with this or that young hottie.
It makes me want to be a bit more careful about the quality of my internet correspondence!
Having thought about this, I think I shall document all my internet personas somewhere so that after I'm dead and can no longer be humiliated they can be passed on to my curious descendants.

Oh, what a sobering thought. I just can't think in lofty terms like that, my legacy should be "He never saw a cheap laugh he wouldn't drop his pants for." They will be so proud.

"If it's not disclosed...you're being hosed." Who coined that phrase? Me, damnit! And it's still true. "Into my heart an air that kills,From yon far country blows What are those blue remembered hills,What spires, what farms are those? That is the land of lost content,I see it shining plain, The happy highways where I went and cannot come again." Nothing I say is intended to be a factual statement.

Barring some unforeseen advances in technology, I imagine future generations doing the exact same thing on the internet as you posited.
Only in Orwellian Newspeak or Nadsat. Yes, pop culture has reached terminal velocity.
This post was written for posterity for my ninety-year old self and my grandkids. Hi folks in 2055, how's the post-apocalypse??

No one's going to be reading this *spoon*. I sense existential angst. I wouldn't worry though, your posts are like spun gold.
There's a possibility that in the distant future, we are all revered scholars and thinkers from a Golden Age of thought and discussion. Streets, cities, schools and people will be named after us. In some broken future where only remnants of the internet age will be found, The Water Cooler data will be unearthed and some of us will become immortal.
"Hey Flitt, what are you doing tonight?" Well, I'm going over to Weenas to do a little Black Handing, if you know what I mean."

It wasn't that bad but I do gotta say, TBH's contribution was brilliant. It could be one of the best things I've ever read from his oily key strokes.
