Anthony, are you out there? If you don't read PMs anymore, I'm posting this here as well.

As you know, I want my money back. I am requesting an update on my refund.

I gave you $480 last July. Where is it? Please honor what you said you would do on 2/13/2012 in your last PM to me and refund me, in full, the money I sent you.

You're lack of communication speaks volumes. I will not be appeased by another thread post promising refunds but giving nothing.

I do not want to have to file a claim with the Internet Crime Complaint Center http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx about your potential internet fraud. I genuinely don't. But I am fully prepared to take this matter further.

You have my PayPal address. Send me my refund. No more delays. Now, please.

Not that it will help but,

I've received no better response from his email.

Not that I don't agree completely with your complaint, but the ic3 is just a lot of hot air with no real bite..

Kinda like the BBB.

just saying. Pursuing "legal action" or otherwise over a person to person internet transaction is a laughable premise.

As an aside, I have had probably 4 succesfull transactions with AC in the last 1 to 1.5 years. I purchased 1 completed book and 3 or 4 commissions. I received every one in a 'reasonable' amount of time. Longer than I would have liked, but certainly not 6+ months. My last 2 books arrived in my hands from CGC the first week of January.

If I had to guess, I'd say AC has run into hard times even beyond his sister, etc. Maybe it's more work than he can handle, maybe it's less and he's had to get a regular job. Either way , the money everyone sent him has been spent and last I checked, semi-struggling artists don't sit on thousands in cash very often. You guys would probably be best served to continue to ask for your books/commissions and extend your patience as much as possible. It's likely your ONLY option as cash refunds are probably VERY unlikely.

Thanks, though. That will be good info to have when I pursue a refund through other channels.

What else can I do? Because of Anthony's broken promises and delays, my bank and my credit cards can't/won't pursue this matter for me, since it is past their deadline to file complaints. Same with PayPal. If Anthony truly takes my money and runs, I am out $480 with no way to get it back. I'm not one for begging, but what more can I do to just get a simple refund on two almost year-old transaction with this man? I'm sincerely asking, what else can I do to get my refund?

He has said himself he will be giving out refunds both personally to me in a PM and to everyone in this thread. As you can probably tell, my patience is at an end and I want my money back.

I do sincerely sympathize with your predicament. I'm out $100 to AC for a book he was going to pick up from Alex Maleev at the NYC Con. I have a feeling I'm just going to have to write that one off.

There's just very, VERY little that can be done. AS with the hall of shame on these boards, people have been stiffed for THOUSANDS of dollars before right here and other than a scarlet letter, not much can be done.

There's a number of people I've been in contact with through PM's who are owed money. I found other threads from long ago with similar problems. Someone told me there were also complaints in the past on deviant art.

It will be interesting to find out if some people from years past still didn't receive their art or get paid back. If we don't get resolution soon I'm going to start really digging and tracking people down. Maybe if enough complaints are pooled together it will total enough money that the FBI will care enough to get involved.

Yes, I just went there.
