Does the KC pedigree have a Superman #1? That would be pretty telling either way, since the OO focused on #1's
Even more telling would be if the Denver ped contained an Action 1, as the owner only collected #1 issues. Didn't see any mention of it here, but I'm sure the folks here would know
The Denver collection was amassed in Pennsylvania!
Call me crazy but there is an inordinate amount of pedigrees from Pennsylvania.
1. Bethlehem 2. Pennsylvania - nyuk nyuk 3. Western Penn 4. Allentown 5. Denver

Isn`t the Pennsylvania collection really from Denver?
I was pretty skeptical of the statement that there were no Supes 1's distributed west of the Mississippi at first, but it's actually kind of interesting that we haven't come up with a counter-example yet. Hardly a common book, but it's no Marvel 1 October either.
Second time I've had one around this condition. But this one I know was bought by a 8 year old kid at a drug store in Colfax. And I personally found the book going through a dirty basement.

Excellent! Now that's the way to solve a mystery. And it looks like you've got more than a few great books there too.
There was some really good stuff. When I have more time and get home from work I'll start another thread so I can tell my story with pictures. It's a good one.
