That was awe inspiring!
I remember reading the end of the world novel " Forge of God" by Greg Bear in the mid to late 90s. As I remember its about a civilization millions of years beyond our own whos purpose is to pass judgment on the planets in the universe base on the dominant species worth and ability to be a positive force towards the universe as a whole as it embarks outwards into space. If you are deemed unworthy the planet is destroyed.
The way Greg Bear described the majesty, and the beauty of the Yosemite National park was so compelling we ended up taking our vacation that year in Yosemite. We were not dissapointed, there is no place else like it on the Planet.

Populations suffer from a fear of change, for their conditioning assumes a static identity. Challenging ones belief system usually results in insult and aprehension. Being wrong is eroniously associated with failure, when in fact to be proven wrong should be celebrated, for it elevates us to a new level of understanding. There is no such thing as a smart Human being, for it is merely a matter of time before their ideas are updated, changed or eradicated. This tendency to hold on to a belief system, any belief system and sheltering it from new possibly transforming information, is nothing less than intellectual materialism. Dominant World views operate with the same social irrelevancy, they exist as barriers to social and individual growth. Major institutions exist as barriers to personal and social growth for each group perpetuates a closed world view. Pat Tillman... Incredible footage.
The colors and clarity of video was amazing.
I noticed a lot of shooting stars (meteors, etc)....or they could have been airplanes but it was hard to tell....lots of movement in the sky that's for sure.
Thanks for sharing

"If it's not disclosed...you're being hosed." Who coined that phrase? Me, damnit! And it's still true. "Into my heart an air that kills,From yon far country blows What are those blue remembered hills,What spires, what farms are those? That is the land of lost content,I see it shining plain, The happy highways where I went and cannot come again." Nothing I say is intended to be a factual statement.

Are cloud nebulas visible to the naked eye in the night sky?
