Is it just me or is the Image stuff is starting to have a sameness about it?. They're riding the wave of a huge boom and they need some serious creative competition.
I would recommend the new Hellraiser series from Boom Studios, written by Clive Barker. I'm really enjoying that.
Indeed, fantastic series. I'd also like to recommend IDW's Godzilla Kingdom of monsters, a really great series.

So this comic is a completely blatent O-Ren Ishii rip off and people think it might be good?
She was a popular character so maybe Song could also be popular. No one knows yet, we'll just have to see.
Well, by that logic, wait til you see my next comic project. It is about a child who sees his parents murdered right before his eyes. He then trains intensively over the next several years and becomes a masked crimefighter, striking fear in the hearts of all criminals that see his dark and awe-inspiring costume. It's called Alley Justice - Revenge Quest. Look for it by Image soon!!!
Make it a small print run and use Image as your publisher and you're on a winner there

Why all the hatin' on Image books? I think they have put out the best new titles for the last few years and that they are the first publisher to have a hit cable TV show (excluding cartoons) in decades. There's a slew of really good books that they've published recently (Luther Strode, Manhattan Projects, Thief of Thieves, Danger Club, Peter Panzerfaust, Saga, No Place Like Home, Hell Yeah, Secret, America's Got Powers, and Fatale). Some people may not like a few of those titles, but no one can say that there's not a couple they really enjoyed. That's a pretty strong accomplishment no matter how you look at it.

Can Epic Kill keep that sort of company. Hopefully, yes, but it certainly hasn't grabbed my interested the way most of those did. I've only read the preview pages though...

Not hatin' the books themselves or Image. The speculating aspect gets a bit old after a while though. Issues selling for 5 times cover price or more the week after every single Image book is released? It makes it hard to separate the good from the bad I enjoy Reading (and watching ) WD but the hype over issue #100 is ridiculous. People are ordering hundreds of copies on pre-order just to flip ASAP. Every other Image title seems to be getting the same treatment too. It can't last forever.... I agree there are some great stories and art though

The Walking Dead 100 craziness is off putting. I don't know that the heat is going to go away anytime soon. By the time the something to fear arc is over the next season of the Walking Dead is going to be hitting the airwaves. The last few months of solicitations for Image have been less than the best. I imagine Planetoid will be fun but that's about it as far as new titles go and its a limited series. I'm going to continue to enjoy Saga, Fatale, Thief of Thieves, Danger Club, Peter Panzerfaust & No Place Like Home. Like many others, I turn directly to Image when I receive my new copy of Previews. I'm hopeful that Valiant will do well, but I'm nervous that Valiant has spent too much money on advertising and not enough on creators.
