Jonathan Frid, know for playing Barnabas Collins in the Vampire Soap-Opera "Dark Shadows", past away last Saturday at the age of 87. \:\(

Even, after googling for his image I still don't recognize him. Sorry...but may he RIP, 87 is a pretty long time to walk the earth.

Aha....at the time, I was in school where I belonged, no wonder I did not recognize him.

Wow that sucks.....talk about dying at the wrong time right as his movie is about to hit theaters.

Hopefully he saw it before he passed.

Great actor but one that outlived most of his fans. Kinda like when James Arness of Gunsmoke died last year. Both Arness and Jonathan Frid were both mega stars from the past that not many of the current American Idol/Kim Kardashian crowd ever heard of. \:\(
RIP Barnabas and thank you for many great hours of entertainment.

He's probably going to be rolling in his grave that they turned it into a slapstick comedy.
