I think my guesses for round 1 winners are even worse 
Damn Canucks ... that team really needs to add a few players with proven playoff performances. That's what Ottawa/San Jose never did, they are making the same mistake. Boo.

well, now that my boys are out, I can post unbiasedly 
I'm enjoying the PHX series . They're a good team, and it looks like anything can happen this year.
the Pa series went pretty much as I thought it would. MAF may have put up the worst goalie performance I've ever seen. Everything else has been a crapshoot.
looks like 5-8 in the east could move on

Lots of new names in this year's round 2. So many of the usual playoff teams have been eliminated.
Definitely a different race to the Cup now. Melrose didn't see the likes of this upon his coveted predictions. (they guy is good)
I was obviously pisssed about the Hawks last night, but more just bummed now. I really didn't think Crawford (or Emery for that matter) were taking us too far to begin with. My notion was turned into fact upon clutch time witnessing those two SOFT OT goals!! Brutal.
Granted since the trades, our D is NOT what I was acclimated to and a few more shots on goals some games would be nice. And dare I ask what our actual stats were this season in OTs => Shootouts Chrikey!! We have a strong team, with helleva Cap leading a good group of guys - I just feel they couldn't consistently fire on all cylinders this year (Goalie shopping would be nice now)
Oh yeah and Torres can tongue my sack. What a piece of work that doucher continues to be. He is about as sharp as a beach ball and as cool as a pube in my salad.
I can't even start elaborate how all the officials missed it and than it continued to go unpunished after looking up and seeing it repetitively is beyond me. The 25 game announcement at least made me smile a bit.
And Weber's hit to Zetti........seriously not one game???
Its hard to believe I can't even watch Hockey Town progress. It will be an interesting finish.
You guys take care, enough of my ranting, coaching and whining. I need to get back into the Boardie Pool at some point again.
