On the subject of Superman #1's west of the Mississippi...
I thought I was onto something with the Henshel collection, as many here probably recall it was an OO that surfaced in Wichita. But digging into it, it turns out they were purchased off of a newsstand in Michigan.
Questions, if anybody knows:

Is Dave Anderson's copy of Supes #1 from his early-90s Northern Cal find? Probably a longshot, thought I'd ask.
Interesting mystery.
Aside from what was said at the comicpedigrees.com website, I know nothing about the Northern CA collection. But I would love to know more considering that's where I've lived all my life.

The GL #1 MH had color touch that bled through to the interior cover. So the fix on that was for someone to use White-Out on the interior cover. It didn't work!
