Thanks Coach - that was valuable info that reinforced my opinion. From the start it was my contention that he never worked on #266. The character was created by Claremont and first sketched by Jim. So if I am a Tool Box because I think that it is a Fail that SS books can't be signed by just anyone then so be it.
This is not about someone's personal collection. This is about an ebay auction that I felt was funny as it revolved around a signature of someone that was not credited on a book.
GODOFTHUNDER forgot that ones' opinion doesn't matter around here. And yes I am an xpert that knew he did not work on THIS book. I never said he had nothing to do with the character. Let's try reading my posts again bud.

Always looking for John Broome/Gardner Fox manuscripts from the silver age "Flash" comic (Infantino used these to pencil the series). Also always interested in Jim Valentino art from "Guardians of the Galaxy"

While you are thanking Coach for posting that, perhaps you should read the operative part of what he posted regarding Jim Lee's role int he creation of Gambit:
Quote:
Visually, it’s all Jim Lee
This wasn't a novel, it's a comic book. The visual? Pretty damn inseparable in the role of creation.
Everyone doesn't collect the same. This person knew Jim Lee was the co-creator of Gambit and saw a way to make a potential profit. Smart man/woman in my opinion.
