Bottom line CGC if there is a delay or we have too much orders .... really just give people a heads up and for god sake put more info up... is it that hard, so we all go for "Fast track" !! ... anyway my 2 cents !!
I can't agree with this. A company that really wants to grow and expand would hire more people and pay overtime, because they will see the benefits in increased business and stronger reputation. Hiring extra staff and speeding up the service is a prudent investment not a wasteful expense.

Why do all that if you have the monopoly

Because they can't always rely on having that monopoly and it really would point to an insane level of short termism for them not to take action on this.

That's the gimmick. Everything else takes a long time, thus, people start to rationalize that the extra cost for fast track, is "worth it". I'd rather have the service, as advertised.
In a perfect world you're right. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm willing to bet that you haven't sent in a book that you planned to sell and have it drop in value over 50% while waiting several months for it to return. So yes, it's "worth it".
Really? I dropped off books with my coupon at ECCC and they showed up in my account a couple of days later.
I think it's time to call Sarasota, Tom.
They show as "verified"...in the queue if that's what you mean...I was hoping to have at least the resto screen by now...I'm not really in any big hurry...just looking to fun-beetch...
Oh, I misunderstood. I thought you meant that it didn't show up at all.
You mean I can check on their status ?? Thx... I didn't know that. I dropped off 6 books at ECCC and have pretty much determined I'll see em when I see em, but of course I'm hoping its sooner than later. Didn't have any coupons though
Indeed. As long as your Collecors Society number was on the submission, you should be able to track it.

I agree with you in those circumstances. I'll fast track books, if time is of the essence, and money is on the line Most books I send, are for my collection, so I have no problem with waiting around two months, give or take
The only thing I ask of CGC, is to post realistic estimates on their turn around time.
I understand that a company wants to grow .. Good to hear especially since your the ONLY one that grades comics ( or the one more people use ) . But it's just another business , getting there money , and not caring about if you did the fast approach or the slow approach , Not there concern. I just have that attitude about companies who are just lazy and I always hear the same *spoon* " we don't have enough people" or the turn around is bad , I work in retail ( not that nobody else does !! ) and I see this EVERYDAY !! . Oh and the one thing I forgot that makes me laugh the most ... They take your money even before the book or books go in line to be graded .. I think that should change, too you get charged WHEN it goes to get graded . Just an idea ... I'm done.. Just wanted to vent .
