According to the website:

Value: ~50 business days late = 10 weeks late
Economy: ~45 business days late = 9 weeks late
Modern: ~20 business days late = 3 weeks late

Even better, con season has already started so what are the chances they get caught up?

More ads, longer wait times, less packing materials. Welcome to a better, brighter future.

Now:

Value: ~55 business days late = 11 weeks late
Economy: ~55 business days late = 11 weeks late
Modern: ~25 business days late = 5 weeks late

Of course, they haven't updated TAT since the great graders' notes revolution. So no doubt, when they do we will see TATs drop precipitously.

Good news. Now that CGC is not providing graders' notes, TAT have......INCREASED!! Woot!!!

Value: 60 business days late = 12 weeks late
Economy: 60 business days late = 12 weeks late
Modern: ~25 business days late = 5 weeks late

Good work everyone.

A short sample, I know. But in these 3 periods, CGC is falling a week or more behind for every 2-3 weeks worked.

If I ever start a grading company I'm making sure you get free submissions.

Don't worry Roy, with the increased fees and the charge for graders' notes, we're sure to see TATs decrease.

And I forgot, since CGC charges you when you submit, there is absolutely no incentive to decrease TATs. Do you realize it takes nearly six months for a value or economy book to get graded? It takes about 2 1/2 months to get a modern graded. Moderns should be their bread and butter and it takes 2 1/2 months.

I cannot speak for anyone else, but CGC does not charge me when I submit modern pre-screen invoices. They charge me when the books ship from CGC. Just FYI. If they insisted on charging me the thousands I owe them before the books ship it would be a big problem.

I did a modern SS sub last month and they charged me immediately for that one.

Yea, but he's on "the wrong side of right". Someone can be 100% right about something and still be wrong. If I hit a person in a

Yeah, that's the case for all prescreens - as CGC doesn't know how many books will actually pass the prescreen, they can't charge you till they're graded.
