My wife is having a girlie day out in Cambridge for her friend's 40th, so my two boys and I headed out to buy a paper for me and a couple of kiddie comics for them, then back home so they could eat Easter eggs.

2 1/2 hours at the local lakes this afternoon, whizzing round on scooters and climbing all over the assault course, then home for dinner, bath and bedtime.

I'm now chilling out on the boards, waiting for the wifey to get home.

Pretty good day.

My mother and brother are in town. He leaves for basic training next Monday so spending sometime with him before he goes. Passing on advice so he knows what to do and what not to do. Also stalking Dre's C2E2 thread via smart phone just in case something nice pops up.

I had to work from 8 til noon today but then got to take my son to our LCS's huge 50% off sale. Spent two hours there looking around, bought him a little Sandman Bowen bust, a little lead Juggernaut figure and a cool hardcover X-men book reprinting some Neal Adams stories

Now, my wife took the kids over to her friends house to play with their kids and I have the house all to myself for the next 3-4 hours!!!

Marched in my son's little league parade today. Did quite a bit of walking. Taking a break on a park bench right now as I type this.

Yeah, I sort of like early Bronze Age Bats, raw or slabbed. I don't discriminate.

These guys aren't too bad either. Missing just two.
