SOLD The insides are really nice. The cover is really nice. The back cover was probably really nice also, but it decided to leave. So we are left with an incomplete book. And a very affordable book! Bonus! Pages are off-white. The staples are very clean and shiny. The front cover was neatly split exactly at the spine line. It looks like would have been a 7.0 - 7.5 type copy if complete. Included is a black and white photocopy of the back cover, inside and out, and a color copy of the front cover as an added bonus. SOLD A very well loved example of a very well loved book. There is tape at both staples, as well as tape at the staples at the centerfold. Half of page one is missing, though it does still have the great panel with Prof. Horton introducing Torch in the glass tube! A small piece (about the size of a half-dollar) is also missing at the top right of wrap four, the last page of the Torch story. It slightly affects the art. The rest of the book is complete and the pages are cream to off-white and supple. It comes with a full color repro of the full cover wrap, inside and out. This book is my grail...can anyone comment on the treatment CGC would give this? Would it be a NG a .5 or 1.0? Perhaps Qualified? I would love some input, you can PM me to avoid thread crapping, or if your answer would serve this thread, post away.
