From the Strib
After rebounding in practice the day before, quarterback Christian Ponder and the offense struggled again during a Wednesday practice that featured players wearing shells rather than full pads.
The first possession for the No. 1 offense in the 11-on-11 team portion of practice went like this: sack, Ponder intercepted by linebacker Chad Greenway, Ponder pass broken up by Greenway, incompletion out of bounds by Ponder. That's 0-for-3 with a sack and a turnover.

The Bourne Legacy or whatever it is called is simply one of the worst movies I have ever seen, such utter nonsense, I just can't stand that sort of thing.
How does one reconcile the love of superhero movies with all that goes on in them with feelings of things that are 'unrealistic' in these films.
I enjoyed Dark Knight but did think it was too violent, I am happy to put up with anything superhero, but when they say "your spine is sticking through your skin" and I'll give it a quick punch / kick then all will be good , that's not acceptable. I have no problem with hulk smash etc, it's the stuff that affects real people that is done badly.
People know the difference between fantasy and reality, they really do. That's why people playing violent video games enjoy them but actually realize its different from killing real people.
I did the citizens police academy in St Paul and people actually asked did they have real time satellite tracking in the police cars like on 24 etc, I could not actually believe they thought that, the police just laughed, they said they were hoping some of the cars would get GPS.

Maybe it's always been this way but I think not. I remember when collecting comics as a kid I actually read them, liked to categorizes and organize them but did not care about their condition. It was not on the radar.
Why did condition become such a thing?
Because comics are common as can be? Dealers with warehouses filled with hundreds and hundreds of thousands of them, it's just not that hard to get your hands on most comics, you create the desirable factor, with something so common let's make condition a factor.
