I got into that game a little later.

Does anyone need 40 copies of Wolverine 50 or Marvel Comics Presents 90?

He has sold over 30 copies on ebay ranging between $18 - $30 a pop since February.

This is just strange to me, it shouldn't be but it is and makes me think I'm getting fooled.

I bought 2 Wolverine #1's as a kid and thought I was insane.

Better question:

How likely is that a purple label book is not actually restored?

Sometimes they miss the boat on trimming, after all, it IS the most difficult of the proceedures to verify. Books will also get hammered for glue when the glue is just a stain. Their success rate is extremely high, however, in all resto detection.......still the best game in town. GOD BLESS...

The OO of a huge Horror magazine collection works at my LCs and he sold the collection to the LCS. I have had several of them signed and slabbed over the years. I had one come back PLOD with slight color touch.

I don't doubt that it has an ink mark or something on it, but there is no way it was done intentionally to cover damage. I wish it would have been treated as a defect, but I understand that CGC cannot know what was in the head of whomever made the stray ink mark. It shouldn't bother me that it has that purple strip on it, considering I had Sanjulian add quite a bit of ink to the cover, but it just does.

I have a short box full of Eclipse Viz manga (yes, multiple copies of some issues) because I thought it would be hot. \:\(
