Shows how big the weekend's results were now, because otherwise the gap would be really close and could be overturned if Man City won the derby. As it is, even if Man U lose they'll still be ahead, and can play for a draw to maintain a comfortable lead.

Kenny needs to calm down and accept that all is not how he'd like it to be at Anfield. Blaming refs gets more than tiresome after a while...the trouble for KK is that he's tarnishing his previous success as a manager, although he did inherit a marvellous legacy from Paisley and Fagan anyway.

The EPL is that much more competitive than it was, back in his heyday. Even the smaller clubs, like Wigan, and newcomers like Swansea refuse to accept a pecking order.

That pic of Kenny looks like he's escaped an old peoples home and stumbled into a press conference.

Seems to indicate that many of the bad acquisitions were Comoli`s doing.

Let's face it, he has a terrible record when it comes to signing players. Liverpool made a huge mistake appointing him in the first place. doh\!

I guess they were hoping he would sign another Gareth Bale.

The English managerial system does make it difficult to tell who really should bear responsibility or get credit for signings. Unlike the US system where there's a clear delineation between the general manager, who's responsible for acquiring players, and the coach or manager, who's responsible for coaching and selecting the players that the general manager has given to him. I understand the system on the continent is also more similar to the US.
