Pretty even game between Detroit and Nashville. Each team had spells where they controlled the puck more. Penalty calls were a bit over the top, they couldve let some stuff go. In the end, when it comes to the playoffs you often have to "get the bounces". Nash got just a couple more than us tonight. Couple misses by Nashville, couple wide open whiffs by the wings and an errant puck off brad Stuarts skate and there you have it. Nashville definitely had better legs tonight. Didn't help that we basically went with 10 forwards with helm getting hurt and emmerton being utterly useless. Oh well, playoffs are a marathon not a sprint. I was able to watch the B's play the Preds at home this season and was impressed, especially with strong D and goaltending. I think the B's had over 45 shots on him that game and it took a shootout win to get by them. The Flyers/Pens series is going to be great all the way to the end. In a way its unfortunate that one of these quality teams is going to be eliminated so early. Mark me down as one of those that would like to return to the old days when they mixed the conference playoffs and allowed the best to rise to the top. The Kings/Nucks game was great! Go Kings! _________________________

Florida in 5 (no real reason, just a gut feeling) Philly in 6 (They have it together and that win last night proves they have the drive.
