I think it's fantastic. It's the gutter snipe that are on their phones while driving, or who don't buckle their children in that should earn your contempt.
Also, you've just come to the realization that the human race is vile? Crusades, Spanish Inquisition, Salem Witch Trials, WW I and II, Darfur, 9-11, Mexican rape trees, Dharma & Gregg. This world was has been a cesspool, since humans evolved enough to completely shiiit it up.

I'll tell you that I have a lot of respect for police officers. I think they have a tough job with a lot of pressure and almost every officer I have ever met I considered what you would call a good person. Still, this is a douchenozzle move. I find traffic enforcement to be higher at Easter than at any other time of the year. Why is that? Do they have nothing better to do than to cite out tickets while people are enjoying family time? I wish they would devote their energies towards rubberneckers, drivers that drive too slow, drivers that don't know how to drive etc and go after them hard. This is just plain stoopid. 
I am in the Twilight Zone...
