May have been a cool book to own in the 90's, alla Primer #6, but there are very few that are willing to spend much on it today or even know the book has minimal significance.
So three sales from the past four months reflect excitement from the 90's only, and not the market value of the book?
That would be like the $1,500 sale of Primer 5 CGC 9.8 not counting towards points assigned because there must not be much of a need or there would be more graded. Anyone with any experience with this book knows it is tough to track down in higher grades, though Chuck Gower landed another Primer 5 CGC 9.8 recently. So do we assume the book shouldn't be assigned higher points because people were just not going out of their way to find it, and there are really many more available raw for those 90's collectors that appreciated Sam Kieth? And you dug up a Primer 5 CGC 9.6 recently, so there must be more out there.
The reverse-logic so you can throw out a Primer 6 jab is just showing what the attacks are all about, rather than even consideration for everyone's requests. But at least you got that jab in rather than move along, right?

Yep. What's particularly telling is that the only graded sales of this book in 9.6 or above since 2006 have been the three that were just quoted; all from the same submission, the same seller and with free shipping to boot. This book was hot for a minute back in the mid 2000s, but pretending that demand has been on an uptick since then is wishful thinking more than anything ...

Interesting. Three sales of 9.6's within the past four months, and you still stand by your premise there is little to no demand? There have been no other 9.6's posted for sale in the past year on Ebay, so it seems odd to blow them off as not being representative of market value.
And I had a feeling the free shipping would enter into the discussion. Does GPA discount for shipping costs included in the price?

Not really sure what you're talking about here. I think the comparison of the 1st appearance books of two currently irrelevant characters that were popular in the 90's was valid.

I don't believe they do. No discount on the most recent sale. Not really apples-to-apples to sales that require shipping $$ in my opinion.

I think I'm pretty straight forward. I think you're a tool, a fake, and an emoticon abuser. How's that for passive-aggressive Mr. Passive-Aggressive?
