Gil Kane Cover Thread

Did Kane do any of the covers on the Incredible Hulk run?

#193, 194, 196, 198, all with Romita inks, I believe.

Funny, now that I look at the covers you can tell but previously I would have said they had more of a Romita flavor.

I met Gil Kane at the San Diego Con back in the early 1990's. One of my comic heroes. Just the absolute nicest man.

When I thanked him for signing my small stack of books (two Spideys shown below), he said, "No trouble at all, old boy!" He called everyone 'old boy,' but as a young man of about 22 or so, I didn't know that at the time.

One of the legendary comic artists & one of my all-time favorite creators.
